COMMENTS:

We purchased the boat in 1998 from the original owner's estate. We immediately had it hauled to our home in Missouri, for a complete refit/overhaul. Every system on board has been replaced or rebuilt. We worked on the boat for the better part of 15 years as time, money and careers allowed. Sadly, we've finally come to terms with our age, health issues and desires; which has led to the inevitable conclusion that cruising is no longer in our future. Since 2014, no work has been done on the boat other than monthly inspections. This boat is 90% complete, you can readily tell by the list of upgrades and extras that the boat is worth more than her market value. We've price her low just to get her out of the yard and move on with our lives. We've got over 1,000 photos documenting this refit, and can answer just about any question you might have as we did most all the work ourselves.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

4 to 6 realistically.

DECK:

New SS (316L) Davit/solar/antenna platform, new SS (316L) 38" life-line stanchions, new vinyl covered life lines, new deck attached folding SS (316L) boarding ladder, 2 new large Bomar 24"x 24" cast aluminum hatches over the aft cabin & forward head , 2 new Bomar 18.5"x 18.5" cast aluminum hatches over the galley & dinette table, new large Freeman 24"x 24" cast aluminum access hatch over the sail/anchor locker, new Lewmar 7.5"x 7.5" vent hatch for the dryer, new Baier Flush Access cast aluminum hatch (oval 20.5"X13.5") over aft propane/gasoline locker, new polycarbonate sliding hatch, cap rail non-skid polyurethane safety coating (needs recoating), new SS (316L) windless stand w/samson post & rebuilt Simpson S-L Seatiger 555 manual winch.

HULL:

New US Paint below water-line ER & WB coatings plus 5 coats of US Paint ablative bottom paint, all new bronze thru-hull ball valves, 2 new 6'X2"X1/4" solid copper grounding/lightning plates.

GALLEY:

New Glacier Bay refrigerator/freezer made with vacuum panels plus new Glacier Bay holding plates & compressor, new solid surface counter tops, new Seaward Princess propane stove and oven (3 burner), new custom made SS (316L) deep sinks w/new fixtures (not plumbed).

AFT-CABIN:

Air conditioned cabin - working off Glacier Bay refrigeration compressor, cabin redesigned to facilitate a Splendide 2000 clothes washer/dryer (power ran but not plumbed), no mattress, ceiling not installed.

ENGINE:

Perkins diesel rebuilt (new pistons & rings, new cylinders, injectors & high pressure fuel pump rebuild, new heat exchanger, new engine mounts, engine installed but not plumbed and wired, alternator needs evaluation, 2 new mufflers for Perkins & generator (not installed), new aluminum diesel fuel tanks (3 tanks, 100 gallon main & 2 wing tanks - 50 gallons each), transmission rebuilt, new propellor shaft & dripless shaft seal, new flexible coupling between transmission & prop shaft, new Northern Lights 8kw - diesel generator - (installed but not wired or plumbed).

PROPANE & AUX. GASOLINE TANK LOCKER:

New vented locker, 2 - ten lb. propane tank capable w/new 20 gallon gasoline tank for outboard engine & SCUBA compressor (not plumbed).

PLUMBING:

New SS fresh water tanks (100 gallon main tank and 2 wings tanks - 50 gallons each), new Isotemp electric hot water tank (installed but not plumbed or wired), new Jabsco Max Ultra fresh water pump (yet to be installed), fresh water hoses still need to be run as well a sink drain hoses.

HEAD:

New redesigned, new larger SS sink & new fixture (installed but not plumbed), rebuilt porcelain head, new 20 gallon black fiberglass holding tank that is suck-out, pump straight overboard or pump into bucket capable, new custom made fiberglass bath tub (installed - not plumbed), new water-tight access hatch thru to sail locker, new water-tight access hatches to all head storage cabinets, Aft-cabin: air conditioned cabin - working off Glacier Bay refrigeration compressor, redesigned to facilitate a Splendide 2000 clothes washer/dryer (power but not plumbed), no mattress, ceiling not installed.

ELECTRICAL:

All new tinned copper wiring throughout the boat, new Marinetics breaker & fuse panels, 2 new Alcad Flooded NiCad battery banks (280 Amp hr. each) , new Charles Industries 30 AMP isolation transformer, new Trace Engineering SW2512 inverter/charger, DC lines ran & wired in as well as 120 volt lines, navigational lights need installed and wires run.

ELECTRONICS:

NavPod w/Autohelm SeaTalk Speed & Depth monitors (not installed), Furuno FCV-667 Color Video Sounder (not installed), Apelco VHF8500 radio (not installed), Polaris MP5510XL VHF radio (not installed).

MAST & RIGGING:

46'6" deck stepped aluminum mast, new mast head w/ 4 halyard pulleys (including radar reflector, navigational lights & lightning dissipater), 2 spinnaker poles - 15' collapsed - 25' extended, 19'6" aluminum boom, 13'10" stay sail boom, original standing rigging, sail tracks have been removed but can easily be reattached, 2 Barient 32 main winches (rebuilt - not installed - might be too big for this boat).

SAILS:

Standard sail complement (main sail, stay sail & head sail) average to good condition, Winnie the Pooh genoa, new spinnaker.

GROUND TACKLE:

100' of chain, new Bruce 44 lb. anchor, new Delta 44 lb. anchor, new 110 lb. claw anchor.

EXTRAS:

Manuals - shop manuals - installation guides on all the major components, new W-H Autopilots Model P-30 electric/hydriodic autopilot (not installed), Aries Windvane self-steering (not installed), new Lofrans Tigress electric windlass (not installed), 9 boat stands, rolling stock ladder.
