After a few years of neglect September Stitch is in need of work. Still a basically sound vessel she is in need of upgrades to original equipment, along with basic maintenance, repair and cosmetics. If you have the energy and skills this is a good opportunity.

RIGGING: Aluminum spars, whisker pole, 7 Barlow winches, new chain plates and bob stay plate, replaced 8/98.

RUNNING RIGGING: New in October 1998 ½ yacht braid, sheets and halyards, and running back stay lines.

SAILS: Sail area is 663 sq. ft. Jiffy reefing on main. Hank on head sails. Sail inventory: Main with 2 reef points, Headsails: 150 genoa, yankee, working staysail, storm staysail, spinnaker.

GROUND TACKLE: 35# CQR and 25# Danforth. 200ft x 5/16th chain (est); 200ft x 5/8" rode (est) manual windlass.

NAV EQUIPMENT: 4" Ritchie compass: Eagle Z-9500 depth sounder with loran and fish finder; Signet wind point, knot log, wind speed. Magellan GPS; VHF, Navico 5500 Auto helm, for tiller steering, insulated backstay.

ELECTRICIAL: Two batteries, one new, new solid state battery charger, 110 shore power with cord.

DOWN BELOW: 6'2" headroom, dinette layout, new head and holding tank. Interior is factory finished in teak, with two double berths and 2 singles. Lee clothes for all berths. 10 bronze opening port lights.

GALLEY: Shipmate stove and oven. Uniden icebox, Stainless steel sink with fresh water foot pump and salt water hand pump.

WATER TANKS: Two stainless steel, holding 38 gallons each. Fresh pressure water system in the head and shower.

TENDER: Hard dinghy with oars.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: 6 PERSON Avon life raft, fire extinguishers. Flares, sea anchor, MOB pole, life jackets.

SAFETY AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT: Automatic 1" electric bilge pump, with bilge alarm system. Hand bilge pump in cockpit. AM/FM cassette player with speakers.
